790-062: work-authorisation fees

Identify the work fee, the responsible payer and the payment route for your immigration procedure.

Choose the right procedure

Code 062 is for the work-authorisation procedures indicated by the competent authority. It is different from the 052 residence fee and the 012 Police card fee. Check the exact information sheet before choosing an item; UGE procedures may instead require 038. Paying a work fee does not itself grant permission to work.

What to prepare

Check who is liable: for employed-work authorisations it is generally the employer; for self-employment it is the foreign applicant. Prepare the correct identity, province, authorisation type and current fee item. The exact procedure determines the deadline, exemptions and amount; do not reuse a fee slip from a different application.

Spanish fields explained

Sujeto pasivo means the person liable for the fee, not automatically the representative or worker. Epígrafe identifies the actual procedure; initial applications, renewals and changes may differ. Match all references to the associated application. Obtain the official generated document rather than editing another PDF or its barcode.

How to submit

The official service offers electronic payment and registration, or completion and printing for payment through a participating bank. In the electronic route, finish the signature and registration steps after payment and save the receipt. For paper, follow the generated document and submit the required payment evidence with the work application.

After submission

Keep fee-payment evidence separate from the application’s registration receipt. Neither a downloaded form nor a bank debit proves that the immigration application was filed. If an item or payer was wrong, ask the managing authority about correction or refund before paying again. Check any separate 052 requirement in the same procedure.
