A NIE identifies a foreign national; it does not itself grant residence or permission to work. EX-15 is for a separate NIE or certificate request. EX-17 concerns the physical TIE. EU citizens use EX-18 when the applicable registration conditions are met. Choose the branch that matches your situation before booking a police appointment or paying a fee.
